Knight Roan
Newest painting of the Queen Chappell Roan in her Knight garb. Not much to say other then i love the music and wanted to paint her in the knight armor form the VMA performance. I did my best to find real armor and use that a base for the design.
The Cat Gods
Cat god Brewster, 2022
I originally started to paint a normal portrait of my cat Brewster, but then I decided I wanted something more unique for his eccentric personality, so I made my little guy into a cat god. I wanted to make this piece a little brighter than my normal pieces and drew inspiration from Studio Ghibli.
Athena the cat god, the most recent portrait of my pets. After painting Brewster as a god, I wanted to take the idea further with Athena! I had an old picture of her that I loved, so I decided to take inspiration from that and make her more ethereal and god-like, really emphasizing her fluff and luscious locks!
This is a series I have recently started back. I originally did a series several years ago of animals of Africa as a commission. Since then, I have wanted to do more paintings like that. Thus, this new series has been created. The first set of animals have the theme of the ocean, from small coral reef fish to massive whales! I’m not sure what or rather where the next series will be inspired by, but make sure to keep checking in to see all the new animals of the world as they are finished!

Iron Helm #2 Study Piece, 2020
A commissioned piece I did years ago. I became fascinated in the hand and the wrinkled fabric over her legs. I later cropped the pic, so I could sell reprints at shows as shown below.

Here are the the pieces hung on the wall. Hope 2011, and 2015 are hung in my old Studio before being shipped off to their new homes. You can see Hope 2018 being hung at the University of Alabama.
Perfection of Man
Perfection of Man is one of the oldest and largest in scale series I have. Painted on 4’x 3’ canvases. These pieces are part of a massive idea I had years ago. Below are the original sketches that show the layout of the pieces once they are all finished.
Perfection of Man - A god Redesigned and Remade
Things and Stuff
A Beast Crowned
Though the sketches don’t align just right, I think you can get the idea. The cloth flows into each piece showing the direction of the story.
A Flight of Perfection
Fabrication of Divinity
Angels and the Fallen
I started this series years ago in the early 2010s with original sketches and working ideas out. I decide to do a head series to help me get a better handle on the series and a better grasp of the ideas I had. Above is the original mockups studies of my Angels and the Fallen series based on the various ideas and past sketches. Below is the painted studies of each but one of the Head series. Each Angel has a Fallen counterpart that mirrors the other. some of the parings have their bases in mythology and in apocrypha tales. You can see more detailed sketches and keep up with these pieces by following the progress in the upcoming pieces section

Pet Portraits.
I started with my good boy, Ace. I painted him as a study to help with portraits and to train on painting fur and the like. I was later asked to do a commission of Sadie.

Portrait of a Great Dane, 2024
Portrait of Ollie, 2024
My next portrait was of my cat Brewster. I didn’t want to just paint him in a standard portrait, so I painted him as a cat god, with a Studio Ghibli feel about him. I wanted to show both sides of Brewster, the good and the little devil side! Thus we had a duality piece.
My latest portrait is of Athena, the last of my three animals. I enjoyed painting Brewster as a god, so with Athena, I took it a little further. I had an old picture of her that I loved, so I decided to take inspiration from that and make her more ethereal and god-like, really emphasizing her fluff and luscious locks!
